Energy Efficiency Improvements for Industrial Refrigeration Systems

The next meeting will be a lunch meeting on February 16th at the Norwood Hotel with the details listed below.

This lunch meeting is about energy efficiency improvements for industrial refrigeration systems. With a focus on industrial refrigeration systems that use ammonia as the refrigerant, this presentation is focused on refrigeration basics and numerous energy efficiency measures. Typical electrical energy savings are 20% to 30% of the total refrigeration energy.

Craig Perrett is a Professional Engineer with Manitoba Hydro where he is responsible for delivering technical and business solutions to customers with refrigeration systems. In this role, Craig has visited numerous facilities and gained extensive experience with optimizing industrial refrigeration systems. Craig is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) and holds a Certificate in Management (CIM) and a fourth class power engineer certificate.
